Greek Gastronomy myths...
There are many myths around the Greek Gastronomy as it is the case with all cuisines with a an ancient history. Extensive research on Food Gastronomy resulted to the definition of the Greek Model of Gastronomy. The results have proven the importance of food materials and their frequency of use in Greek cooking. Many myths have been dropped and lots of food realities have been revealed. Lemons, oregano, cinnamon, bay leaves, beans, lamb meat and fish of the Aegean sea are dominating Greek cooking. The writer is one of the best experts on food quality and promotion of the European Union and has received congratulations for his work during the Food Agriculture Organization FAO "Pulses year of 2016" for his book writings and research.
